Dragan had a way of making people feel comfortable, and accepted exactly as they were. He was one of those rare people who made you feel like an old friend from the moment you met him. One thing I’ll always remember is how he called me by my maiden name every single time we spoke— a small thing that somehow reminded me of who I was at my core, and always made me smile. He was endlessly caring, genuine, fun, talented and deeply loved by all of us that knew him. It’s so hard to believe that he is not with us anymore. We will all miss naseg Dragana so, so much!

Koliko smeha,šale,iskrenog prijateljstva i druženja..Kakve su to priče bile...A znamo se od školskih dana. I sad si otišao,odjednom. Ali i tamo je neko divno društvo,divni ljudi, koji su ,kao i ti prerano otišli.

You were the best uncle I could ever wish for. The kind of person who could make me laugh even when I was crying. I miss you more than words can ever describe, and today feels especially hard. I keep expecting my phone to light up and to hear you yelling, “Katarina iz Beč!” I’m going to miss the way you messed with me and made me laugh harder than anyone else could. Making fun of mom together until she’d yell at both of us. Our lutka. One of my earliest memories of you is when we would come over and mom would beg you to convince me to stop wearing the same green shirt and black shorts every single day. You’d look at both of us and say, “Leave her alone! We went this morning and bought the exact same outfit and she’s wearing that,” then wink at me like we were in on the joke together. You always had my back. And I’ll never forget when you took us to the haunted hotel in Jerome. I told you what if a ghost followed me home and you made it your personal mission to mess with me even more that night. You started sending me blurry “ghost” pictures and creepy voice notes. That was you, always making me laugh. Those little moments became some of my favorite memories, and I’d give anything to have them back. I love you so much and my heart is broken without you here. I hope you know how deeply you are loved and how much of you will stay with me forever.

Ujko, I can’t believe you’re gone. I wake up everyday and just wish I could call you. I’ve been thinking about all our memories. The time we went to sushi and I saw your face light up cause the food was so good and then we just started ordering all the weird stuff, grossing mom out. When you drove me around on your bike during a super hot summer day. When you picked up my friends and I when our car broke down. Or when we were riding Jetski’s at the splav. You introduced so much adventure into my life. I miss you so much, I hope one day I will see you again. 😢
